A Night Unlike Any Other – a Christmas poem by me

While watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music, I had a desire to write a Christmas poem. It may not be the same caliber of Isaiah’s writings sung in Handel’s Messiah, but these are some of the thoughts and feelings I have been having this Christmas season. Please feel free to share it with your family and friends. The image below is print-quality if you wish to print it. If you do not use it in this format, please contact me and let me know how you want to use it, and I can send a copy of the text. Enjoy and have a very merry Christmas!

(Please leave your comments below. I would love to know what you think and what your feelings are about Christmas.)

  2. Hi,
We’re from the Mt Lavinia Methodist Church Sunday School in Sri Lanka and due to the pandemic situation, we have not been able to meet physically at Sunday School. Lessons have been online. We are thinking of a video presentation for Christmas, and wondered if we can use your poem, to be recited by 10-11 year olds, with relevant Carols sung in between.

Please grant us permission to use your poem, ‘A night Unlike any Other’.

    Blessings and regards,

    Sandra Cadiramen
